An afternoon at Scripps Aquarium

We decided Sunday to spend the afternoon at the Local Aquarium. Since it was a hazy day we thought something inside might be a nice way to spend some time. Located in La Jolla, it was about a 15 minute ride north for us and we got there around 2pm. We had a nice lunch at the cafe outside the entrance then spent the next 2 hours checking out all of the different exhibits. I had a change to use my canon camera for the first time in a while and turned out some pretty impressive shots. I had forgotten how much I love being behind the lens!

We came home, had a nice dinner and now we are lazing on the couch watching Aliens. Not a bad end to the weekend.
